Natalie Jade is a Contemporary Aboriginal artist. She comes from a family of artists growing up in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs she now resides on Phillip Island (Millowl). Her Aboriginal family line comes from the Tasmanian Palawa people where her extended family still reside. She describes her art as a form of healing both for herself and her collectors and she tells her own stories that are reflective of herself, personal identity, connection to the land and cosmos. Her work has strong themes of the stars, sun and the waters. With the belief that we are all connected she aims to create unity and understanding.
