What's the difference between paper prints and canvases?
My paper prints are printed onto thick paper made from pure cotton fibres. These prints have a 3cm white border around them and are designed to go into picture frames with glass. I always recommend taking them to a professional framer, but you might like to buy a ready made picture frame and put it together yourself.
My canvases are wonderful. These are delivered either rolled up or framed ready to hang. They are made from cotton and also have a polyflax woven in as well. They don't need to be put in a picture frame with glass like my paper prints, rather they are stretched over a strainer bar and finished off with a beautiful Tasmanian Oak floater frame. If you select the framed version they are delivered ready to hang.
If you select the unframed version you will need to take it to a professional framer to complete the job
If I choose unframed how does it come?
If you choose unframed artwork, shipped inside an industrial-strength art tube.
Can I frame a fine art print?Sadly not through me as these require glass it is too risky in the post. I recommend taking the print to your local framer. I use Tasmanian oak for all of our frames and this is what I recommend to compliment the art.
If I just buy the canvas print - how does it come?
Un stretched and ready for your local framer.
If I buy my canvas print framed how does it come?
Stretched, Framed, ready to hang and delivered to your door.
